This is an informal drop-in session for any homeschool parent interested in meeting other parents for a time of networking, asking questions, sharing support, and building relationships.
From 2 to 4, there will be a mom present who has navigated the high school sports application process who has volunteered to come and answer any questions you may have and encourage you to know that you can do it too. This is a great way to gain insight into the process and hopefully, relieve some fears.
We will be meeting in the Westvaco Room, which is on the left when you enter the library.
There will be free copies of Practical Homeschooling Magazine for those who want one.
Children are welcome! There will be space where they can participate in quiet activities that you bring. Children can also take advantage of the wonderful collection of books at the library.
Parents and children are welcome to bring books to swap or share with others. Any books left at the end of the meeting will be donated to the library.
If you have specific questions or areas of concern, please feel free to email us at firstname.lastname@example.org so we can prepare and bring information or resources we may have to share.
We are looking forward to this time of fellowship and sharing!
Please feel free to invite anyone who may benefit. This event is open to everyone.
